Mordy Koots
Mark Edwards will examine the PVR market addressing consumer trends, adoption rates and the leading brands in Australia Topfield and Beyonwiz. With an insight into IceTVs unique ability to push content into the living room as a broadband delivered service and what future possibilities his company sees regarding content delivery and the ways in which IceTV believes the consumer will be happy to pay for it.
James Grant Hay will deliver forecast advice on why technology convergence and media fragmentation continues to accelerate the pace of change towards advertising in-programming. Describing InShots cross-platform experiences to date working with content producers, rights holders and brand owners, audiences will gain a unique insight into a recent campaign case study for Skype with CARE Australia and Network Ten and learn more about InShot Labs.
Jim Shomos will discuss digital storytelling and share with audiences his producers experience working with Clayton & Shane Jacobson (the creative team behind Australian feature hit, Kenny) for the upcoming digital Web series, Mordy Koots starring Shane Jacobson and featuring a world-first visual concept conceived and directed by Clayton Jacobson.

Marc Edwards, Marketing & Content Manager, IceTV
Marc Edwards is a print, web, TV and application interface designer who's made the jump from above the line ad agency creative to tech marketing and content strategist. At IceTV, Marc has spearheaded several of IceTV's largest innovations, including the IceTV Widget, iPhone app and social aspects of the the IceTV Interactive service. These have all served dual purposes: adding value for subscribers and as tools for viral marketing. Marc is also a content creator with a deep understanding of DRM and the issues surrounding it. IceTV provides a large number of interactive services for media centers and PVRs, making TV and video content more versatile.
James Grant Hay, Managing Director, InShot
James Grant Hay is Australias leading brand integration strategist, whose agency InShot specialises in product placement, branded entertainment and in-game advertising. James regularly advises rights holders on the value of their ad inventory in-programming for the purposes of packaging and selling investment sponsorships to advertising clients as diverse as Skype, Hyundai, Nike, Apple Computer, Sony, Atari, Foster's Group, Siemens and Microsoft Xbox. As well as being a regular news media commentator and university guest lecturer of RMIT, James is also a guest feature writer on the branded entertainment space for Marketing Magazine and Digital Ministry in Australia. In addition to client services, InShot Labs is a co-developer of hypervideo software authoring tools, which allow objects in online video to be clickable.
Jim Shomos, Writer/Producer, Lets Talk Pty Ltd
Jim is a writer/producer or producer on a range of feature films, Heritage TV and digital media projects and is the creator of the award winning interactive cross-media production: forget the rules (FTR) the first comedy/drama series in the world to broadcast all episodes on TV, broadband and mobiles. Jim is working with Clayton & Shane Jacobson (creative team behind Australian feature hit, Kenny) on digital media series, Mordy Koots, starring Shane and featuring a world-first visual concept conceived and directed by Clayton. Jim has been a regular speaker or mentor at digital media workshops & seminars across Australia, including AFTRS LAMP, and has been an official speaker at MIPTV 2008 & MIPCOM 2007 in Cannes. 2006: FTR winner Best Interactive Format, MIPCOM Internet & Mobile TV Awards Nominated and Best Original Content 2007: Co-winner of Greg Tepper award from Film Victoria. 2008: AWGIE nomination for writing on FTR2
